Role Overview
We are looking for a Technical Sales manager to bridge the gap between cutting-edge engineering and customer needs in the defense and aerospace sector. You will drive business growth by identifying opportunities, engaging clients, and delivering technically sound solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop new business opportunities in defense, aerospace, and government sectors
- Understand client requirements and propose suitable payload/camera solutions (IR, EO, AI-based)
- Deliver technical presentations, demos, and proposals
- Collaborate with R&D teams for customized solutions
- Manage end-to-end sales cycle: lead generation to closure and post-sales support
- Build relationships with defense agencies and system integrators
- Track market trends, competitors, and emerging technologies
- Enable sales channels (Government – GeM, domestic B2B, exports)
Key Requirements
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Technology or related field
- 4–6 years of experience in technical sales (defense, drones, embedded systems, or imaging preferred)
- Strong ability to understand technical specifications and convert them into business solutions
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Experience with UAV/drone/defense equipment
- Exposure to government procurement processes (GeM, tenders, etc.)
- Strong network within defense organizations, DRDO, or system integrators
