About Motionmatics

Motionmatics is a deep-technology company building advanced imaging and embedded hardware platforms for mission-critical defense and strategic applications. We design and deploy high-performance systems across aerial, ground, marine, and strategic surveillance domains, with a strong focus on indigenous technology and engineering excellence.

Learning Opportunity:

CAE Analysis & Simulation

  • Use ANSYS or similar tools to simulate, analyze, and refine designs based on structural and operational conditions
  • Prepare computational geometry for FEA/CFD analysis from CAD models
  • Conduct structural, durability, and fatigue analyses using CAE tools and suggest Design improvements

Model Development & Validation

  • Use software to create detailed 2D (Using GD&T) or 3D designs for assigned project components
  • Ensure designs comply with industry standards, design specifications, and regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with manufacturing, production and Quality Assurance to provide technical support and resolve design-related issues during the production phase

Documentation & Support

  • Maintaining design documentation, test logs, simulation summaries and version-controlled repositories
  • Participate in design review meetings and contribute ideas for design optimization and product improvement
  • Interact with vendors to handle engineering Prototypes and Production requirements

Technical Skills

  • Passionate about Mechanical engineering with expertise in Engineering Mechanics, Strength of material’s, heat transfer & Aerospace UAV components
  • Hands-on experience with CAE using: ANSYS/Abaqus/SolidWorks Simulation
  • Fundamentals of mechanics, vibrations, and structural analysis
  • Creating and modifying 3D CAD models using: Siemens NX/AutoCAD/Solidworks
  • Familiarity with standard machine shop practices and VMC/CNC Milling
  • Knowledge of basic materials that can be used in design & finishing process
  • Exposure to 3D Printing is a bonus

Soft Skills

  • Good communication and documentation abilities
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team
  • Willingness to learn, ask questions and adapt to new tools and technologies

Educational Qualifications

  • B.Tech / B.E. in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or related specialization
  • Experience level: 0-1 years
